As the Monteverde Institute celebrates its 27th anniversary it is a pleasure to reflect on our simple beginnings, all the endeavors since, and the bright future ahead.

Grounded in high academic standards the values of the Monteverde Institute are love, peace, service to others, teamwork, honesty & accountability.
Currently, the Monteverde Institute has space to host 2 more semester or quarter courses, Fall & Summer terms.
Our campus is located in the center of the Monteverde community, adjacent to the historic Cheese Factory and surrounded by hundreds of acres of protected forest.
We invite faculty to partner with us. Monteverde Institute currently is able to add two more semester courses, Fall & Summer.

From the very beginning, students learn to think and express themselves in Spanish. They progress very rapidly since they are in constant, daily contact with the language.
Our students become new speakers of the beautiful Spanish language and also, better citizens.
We provide a positive classroom environment that makes students feel comfortable.
Monteverde Institute offers tailor-made Spanish language classes for students enrolled in our other courses and individualized programs for private individuals.
Classes are 4 hours per day, Monday through Friday
Students build lasting relationships with homestay families.
